for the convenience of visitors that live outside ERL's
adoption range. Inclusion on the list does not constitute
an endorsement or recommendation of any specific group.
Before donating to, adopting from, or volunteering with
any animal welfare group, you should research the group's
philosophies, operating procedures and goals to ensure
it is an organization you'd like to support.
Please
let us know if you find any inaccuracies or dead or missing
links. We'll update as quickly as possible! We also want
to list groups that do not have websites... please send
addresses and phone numbers so we can help these groups
get the word out.

The ILPH runs five farms with over 300 horses in our care
at any one time. Fifteen full-time Field Officers, nearly
all ex-mounted policemen, investigate cases of cruelty
and neglect and check out horses on the ILPH loan scheme.
Nearly 2,000 rehabilitated horses and ponies have now
been found approved homes. We retain responsibility for
these horses for the rest of their life. |
