Equine Rescue League's Open House!
Since our inception in 1990, we have hosted a biannual Open House fundraiser in May and October. We invite the community and guests of all ages to get up close and personal with many different types and sizes of horses. There are many family friendly activities as part of this weekend long event, including pet-a-pony, raffles, bake sale, yard sale, tack sale, live music, and demonstrations by professionals in the equine industry.

The money raised during this event goes directly toward the costs to provide proper care, feed, hay, veterinary care, farrier care and training to the animals who seek shelter and rehabilitation at the Equine Rescue League. Contact us for more information!

Become an ERL Baker
The horses at the shelter need to borrow you, your ovens, recipes, skills and time to bake sweet treats to sell during our fundraiser to raise money for the horses at the shelter.Cookies, cakes, pies, breads, brownies, cupcakes and other sweet treats needed!
Baked goods can be dropped off at our farm shelter in Lovettsville the week before Open House.
Live Music
Looking to book a couple extra hours over the weekend AND donate your time/talent to a great cause? We are looking for 3-4 artists/groups to play during our Open House event in May and October. We will have more than 500 guests over the course of the weekend, so a great opportunity to share your work with the community!

Donate a Raffle Item
Would you like to donate an item to our raffle? Everything from pet supplies to artwork, wine tastings to limousine tours and concert tickets is fair game at our super popular Raffle Booth!
